I've been reading old posts and there are a few different pumps that people are using, which one(s) is(are) best and why? Lots of different opinions. Any good threads I may have missed?

I've wondered the same thing, I plan on using it for heated wvo for a 6.9l engine, don't know what the other guy is going for though.

I've been using a SX Performance 18201 fuel pump for awhile now, with no problems. I use a heated in tank fuel pickup with a HIH heater and a temp sender just before the pump, after the engine is up to normal temp oil gets up to 180 degrees and stays there. The pump has no problem pushing hot oil at 80 psi.
I just spoke with a Tech at SX performance about the SX Performance 18201 , which has been replaced with by the 18203. He said that as long as the oil is loose there should be no percieved problems using it with vegetable oil. Generally the only problems they see are associated with the use of newer ultra low sulphur fuel blends that wear out the brushes due to reduced lubricity. I think I may give it a try.
JoJon, how long have you been using your 18201?

I had used the A1000 pump, it died due to starvation, The 100 micron before pump filter clogged with hose material from a faulty hose. Since then I installed the Mallory 60fi pump running my vegistroke system at 60 psi. with no problems at all.
