Question Hooking up a 2nd tank.

I have a 93 7.3 non turbo dually Ford. Both tanks have electric Walbros. Tank one is strickly diesel and goes directly to the factory filter head. The tanks are brand new so no crud to worry about. I want to run the 2nd tank into a circular HE, alah Frybrid, into a separate filter then into the engine. In looking at my layout my factory line does not go into the IP but into a line which seems to feed the injectors 1st. Am I missing something or can I just T into the line from the Factory filter head to the injectors. I do have a 3 way which is set up on a separate switch which flows the return fuel to the proper tank.

You're probably looking at the return fuel line.
Try starting at the IP and working your way back.

Wink

Yep I was looking at the wrong line. The line from the IP back to the filter head is in the back of the head. Can I just tee into that with my supply line or am I going to face additional problems?

You might want to look at some of the configuration plans on Dana's site.

Cur

I'm using used filtered Canola mixed with diesel in my front tank abouta 50/50 mix. I start and turn off the motor with the rear tank that 100% diesel. However, I do have some cardboard covering 1/2 the radiator so she will warm up quicker and say warm. Have not had any issues yet.
