That's true, the water is in a higher energy state physically when the exhaust valve opens and that added energy is an additional inefficiency, but at the moment of ejection from the heads that energy has been delivered to the low temperature reservoir of the engine, aka the atmosphere, and will quickly be dispersed (wasted). This will cool the water, and it will condense to it's original state. Don't think of the moment of ejection as the final state of the exhaust - it's going to be at room temperature very soon after it's mixed with the ambient air outside the vehicle.

New HFI hybrid car to go into production this fall

Okay, here's some news that may dismay the hydrogen fuel injection (HFI) on-demand (Browns Gas from water) naysayers: a prototype of a new car intended for production was unveiled this week. It will incorporate a hydrogen on-demand production system that electrolyzes water, and injects it into a gasoline engine that launches this sportscar 0-60 in 3.5 secs & 40mpg fuel efficiency. Available Fall 2008. Details:
Company Unveils Hydrogen Hybrid Supercar: Available Fall 2008 : Gas 2.0

I read last week that VW is working on an HFI/diesel hybrid concept car, in addition to an electric/diesel hybrid car, both of which they predict will be in the 125mpg range.

Just started reading this thread - here is a link to a Canadian company that has the single source contract with our military to install HHO injection units on all military vehicles..... HHT - Hydrogen Hybrid Technologies - seems to work good enough for our government to use it.. There are several companies marketing systems - I can find more links in my bookmarks if you want them.

For those who want to obtain an inexpensive O2 sensor modifier go here - Mad Scientist 67 Alternative Fuel Technologies | Put your money in the BANK, not the TANK!

For a more user friendly version, obtain a scangauge II here - Electrical Circuits

The original question was:
"Has anyone tried these hydrogen generators for better fuel mileage"
Please stay on topic or this thread will be closed.

OK - then my answer is yes (successfully). I assumed most would want some indication of how that was possible - my bad.

Naw, I just want to see some calibrated test results.
I'm not concerned with how it's possible until there's reason to believe that it's possible.

Does that mean anything less than lab studies is immediately discredited? If so, I bow out...

Yet another link to some 'lab' studies supporting the validity of HHO supplemental fuel - http://www.gasadvancesystem.com/Soth...rch%20Test.pdf
