I'm wondering if anyone with an injector tester unit would be willing to take an IDI and/or powerstroke injector and run greasel and/or biodiesel through it and see what the spray pattern is compared to normal fuel. I think i'll call around and see if i can get a local diesel place around here to conduct the test for me if no one has any test stands handy. Seems like it would be interesting to see what the difference is espeically with WVO compared to straight diesel seein grease is a bit different than diesel.
Swamp may have some insight on this question

Upcoming mods- ?
Also play with a '65 Mustang "ground upped" and a customized 92 Harley. Life is good.
That would be good info to see.
If there is a substantial difference, it might be interesting to find out where the buld of the change in pattern takes place. Might give us a good indication of what the best "blend" might be...
Might be good to see a couple of tests with different blends, say 20/80, 50/50, 80/20.

I'd also be interested in the effects of different temperatures. I see SwampDonkey is offering to offering to check injectors run by people on alternative fuels for free, so I bet he'd be interested.
