Looking to buy a new diesel generator to burn biodiesel...

6500kw or so home emergency generator that can burn biodiesel. Anyone have any luck with any particular models? I love the Lister concept, but I need something pretty much turn key out of the box. I'd like to spend around $1500 or less.
Thanks.

GeneratorJoes.net has a pretty good selection and some good info. Don't know about prices nor service, never used them. I'd also check out the northerntool.com site.

Good luck.

Al

My goal is to do the same thing. I've heard to stay away from the high revving generators.... the ones that have an engine that runs at 3600rpm like you get at Northern Tools and such. I'm seriously considering this 12kw unit from a company in Dallas. Check out this Generator Depot 12kw unit for under $2000.
