I just found a brand new 50 gal. water heater that has some cosmetic damage for $20 from Lowe's. Also I just purchased 20 thirty gal. pickle barrels for $2 each. The barrels have waterproof lids with a screw on ring to hold the lid in place.
Already have barrels sitting at two resterants.
Sorry, but I'm excited and just had to say something.
I'm still collecting all the parts for the truck. Hope to have it going sometime soon.

I heard from a fellow PSD'er that his local builder supply store (not a chain) has water heaters like this all the time. It seems folks buy water heaters, plug them in but forget to turn on the water. Ooops. Amazingly, the store replaces the water heater free of charge and then are able to provide us biodieselers a wonderful reactor at little or no cost! What a deal!!!!!
