Re: mixing B99 and #2 diesel

By noting the two had exactly the same mounting and asking until somebody came up with the specs for each. It "seems" like the power improved when I replaced it, but that may just be my mind justifying the expense. I know the mileage went up about 1 mpg.

Re: mixing B99 and #2 diesel

O.K., I'll ask. What's a CPS, what do they cost and how easy are they to replace?

Re: mixing B99 and #2 diesel

$110 at IHC dealer, cheaper elsewhere. My engine is a 7.3 Powerstroke. I have no idea if this works on the 6.0 or 6.4 liter diesels.

Hmm that'd be VERY interesting if that was all true..

Edit:found a PN# 1807339C92

Found the part on :http://www.thedwilsons.com/powerstro...t_Numbers.html

The part at my local International dealer was ~96$.

Link to some hard data:
http://forums.thedieselstop.com/foru...te_id/1#import

Seems to retard timing...smoother idle but less effecient? Give and take...
