New Biodiesel supplier in DFW

For any one interested I received the following message in an email today.

Note. I am in no way affiliated with the company below.
Dear Biodiesel Fans,

We have opened up a second retail location for B100 Biodiesel in the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex and it is open for business as of today, Friday the 30th of July 2004.

The B100 Biodiesel tank is located in north Ft. Worth at the following address:

1530 Highland Oaks Dr.

Keller, TX 76248

Please contact Bobby Camp for a fill up at:

Tel: 817-875-5147

E-mail: turbolucbricants@yahoo.com

Web: Http://www.turbolubricants.com

A big thanks to Bobby Camp and Turbo Lubricants for believing in Biodiesel and helping to bring it to Ft. Worth. Bobby Camp is one of the founders of Turbo Lubricants and drives a VW TDI diesel Jetta, plus has two diesel pick up trucks all powered by Biodiesel. Turbo Lubricants are the southwest’s regional distributor of Motul Synthetic Oils which are an excellent and very cost effective replacement for the Castrol oils that VW specifies for its diesel engines. One of the key benefits of using Motul Synthetic oils is that your oil change interval can be as high as 18,000 miles.

I hope that all Fort Worth Biodiesel users will support Bobby and help him justify the risk he is taking by bringing retail Biodiesel to the Fort Worth area.

Ian

Re: New Biodiesel supplier in DFW

Do you know how much they are selling it per gallon? I'm west of Dallas in Wylie for a short time and would like to try it out.

Here is the email I got back on June 10th about the location near addison:

Hi Ian,

Thanks for the note and interest in Biodiesel.

We are selling B100 for $2.49 per gallon.

Any other questions, please do not hesitate to drop me a line.

Regards,

Peter Bell - Distribution Drive

DistributionDrive was formed in 2002 with the two goals of helping to clean the air in Texas and reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil. These goals can be achieved in a commercially viable manner through the use of the non-polluting and renewable fuel Biodiesel, produced from vegetable oils derived from feedstock grown in the USA.

No exhaust smoke with Biodiesel in the tank

Biodiesel is a domestically produced, renewable fuel that can be manufactured from vegetable oils or recycled restaurant greases. Biodiesel is a direct replacement for petroleum based diesel fuel that reduces diesel engine emissions and America’s reliance on foreign oil. Biodiesel's most noted attribute is that there is no need for new storage facilities and modifications to the vehicle.

Not the typical image of an environmentally friendly vehicle?

Just by putting Biodiesel in the tank today, you can turn a giant F350 7.3 Liter V8, diesel powered pick up truck into a far more environmentally friendly vehicle than a Toyota Prius Hybrid. As a bonus, no modifications are required to the vehicle or the gas station supplying the fuel to facilitate this transformation.
