New method of making Biodiesel

University of Minnesota has developed a revolutionary Biodiesel Production processes. It might not make that big of difference on fuel prices but it will be nice to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. They are in the processes of building a new plant using this new method. Supposed to be done this fall if I read everything right.
Here is a link to a revolutionary biodiesel production process that might not be getting as much attention as it should be.

It might just be me but I figured this was pretty big news. I cant wait until the plant goes online.

I haven’t been able to find out much more about it. Most of the searches have just come back with the same article. With fuel prices almost $5 you would think this would be all over the news. Another thing, if these guys can make biodiesel on a small scale in a lab using this method than we should be able to make it in our garage.

Same here, link failed. Besides, do you REALLY THINK big oil wants a revolutionary biodiesel process on the market?
