new vegistroke install not working YET!!

just installed the latest vegistroke system
took me and my buddy, both average wrenchers 10 hours, and 8 beers and mcdonalds to pull off.

install went smooth, but i am having issues with the system. i have been intouch with jason at dfa and true to rep and form he has been on the phone trying to help me trouble shoot. obviously i am anxous and want it it go right away. he has been great i ma just trying to get more thoughts or see if someone else had hte same issue.

the problem is that i ma burning both fuels at the same time. the pressre switch is not switching off the oem fuel pump. there fore by design according to jason the green light does not come on to the switch wehn in auto mode..

i backed off the (actually tightended) the fuel pressure sensor in the v3 mainfold. confirmed wires were good as per jason instrucitons adn then then tested resistance athe pressure switch wring harness. the info i recieved was that the switch was not operating properly. jason has asked me to check the pressure with a gauge tommorow at thte v3 itself adn make sure htere is no obstrucions in line of hte veggie fuel.

i will report back tommorow or the next day. just trying to rack some brains or see if someone has hte same issue.

note the system is running its purge cycle and the exhaust smells like chicken!

i am very optimistic and sure it will resolve quickly, just trying to save calling jason up, hes a busy dude

thansk

update pressure check turned out negative, the pump wasnt operating, tuned out to be the fuse that controls the veggie pump on the main board. after some other tests i figured there was no power to the pump, should have been teh place to start on a pressure driven system. Jason guided me all the way, obviously i wish he would have started there (lol). he has a great company going there adn nothing but superior customer service. i will report back after a couple thousand greasy miles!

cheers

The plastic connector that takes 12 volts from the inside of the truck to the V3 system overheated. I just cut the connector out and spliced the wires together. No other issues.

Your system is new, so it may even have changed. Since i discussed the issue with Jason.
