Please elaborate-NEWBEE doesnt understand

ALright, after looking at bio-diesel, it seems like an interesting approach, but what has me confused are systems like vegistroke. Does vegistroke still use bio-diesel, or straight WVO? Mike

Re: Please elaborate-NEWBEE doesnt understand

Veggiestroke is using WVO (waste vegetable oil) not biodiesel.

Biodiesel is produced by a chemical process whereby the glycerin is removed from the WVO leaving a methyl ester behind , aka biodiesel.

Re: Please elaborate-NEWBEE doesnt understand

To run vegetable oil all your doing is basically heating it up to say 160 degrees before it enters your injectors.

Spencnaz already mentioned, it's a chemical process to the vegetable oil that basically allows you to run it in a unmodified vehicle.

There's plenty of information in this forum.

If you want to get a really good breakdown on what biodiesel is, how it can be cheaply made, and what it can do for your vehicle
