Question about Lye

I haven't been able to find any of the NaOH or the other type listed(KOH I think) but did find some Red Devil. It says that it is 100% Lye. Would this be alright to use for making my test batch? I've looked at Randalls, Kroger. Walmart and HEB for the other stuff but can't find any. Thanks for the help.

Yes, the red devil works great. The 100% has been taken off the market I believe. I think you can get something called roebic at Lowes, it is 100% lye also. If you get into larger batches you can get bulk in 50# bags, lot cheaper than the pound bottles.
