Re: So who has the most WVO miles on a powerstroke????

FordNut74 (who's away on a tour of duty with the National Guard, I believe) had over 15,000 miles on veggie, if I recall correctly. He's referred to as the trailblazer as far as VeggieStrokes go around these parts, and rightfully so.

Re: So who has the most WVO miles on a powerstroke????

Fordnut is in the Navy and will deployed overseas for the next year. He has well over 15000 miles on SVO. He buys it from a company that collects waste veggie oil and they deliver it to his house in 55 gallon drums and then he filters it.

Re: So who has the most WVO miles on a powerstroke????

As you can see from my sig, I have been running WVO for about a year now. Purchased the PSD end of April of last year with 98,000 miles. converted it in May. Replaced the lift pump in June or July. Thats all that I have had trouble with. I now have 126,500 miles and lookin over my records, when and how much WVO and DinoD I have purchased... I have at least 21,000 miles on WVO maybe more.
When I do run DinoD the enging is louder and it takes me awhile to stop thinking there is something wrong. WVO really quites these PSDs down.

Re: So who has the most WVO miles on a powerstroke????

RoReRi,
I'm very intersted in your setup. Thanks in advance.

Are you running veg through the stock lift pump?

Does the veg go through the stock filter cannister?

What kind of purge times do you have with your setup?

Purge-Smurge I only purge sometimes, and only when I feel like it.

When I crank it up in the AM I just switch to DinoD let it run for 5 or 10 miles then switch back to WVO.

I just filter my WVO really GOOD!!!!
