svo systems fn-74 specific

I am trying to get some svo systems rollin before I start peak retaining wall season. I was wondering if any of you all were running off the shelf version of vegestroke fn-74 system. I am wondering how its doing? and What if any the weaknesses or add-ons would be needed. It seems to be the only way I am really going to get off my ass and rebel against mobile/exxon. for that alone 2,000.00 may be worth it. I am considering even buying a cheap vw junk truck to provide some wear and tear away from the ford.

Re: svo systems fn-74 specific

I have a vegistroke (FN-74) system in my 2001 F-250. I am very pleased with it. Jason, the owner, just upgraded his system. Everything is underneath the truck so your engine compartment has a nice clean look without all of the hoses under the hood. Jason installed it for me. He does a really good job. He is also top notch on customer service.

Re: svo systems fn-74 specific

I considered the FN-74, which is great if you need quick switch over, but depending on your needs there are less expensive ways to go. I switch to veg, then drive 7-800 miles. I run the veg through the stock fuel system, much like Greasel advocates, (but use hose in hose). 30k miles and counting with no issues. I did add a Holley blue boost pump to get the grease through a racor 1000FH, and let the stock lift pump take it from there.

Cost was under $500 and took 8 hours to convert. It's probably saved me $7500 so far.
