Top film layer?

Went behind 2 local mexican taco joints...inside the basin was a thick nasty layer of red slop (im guessing jalapenos & paprica)
This wouldnt be good oil to take would it?

Went to a local fish joint & they have 3 grease dumpters out back... all 3 had a thick white film on the top white chunky mix of glop...im guessing I should stay away from this one also??

Re: Top film layer?

It was approx. 52-59* and pouring rain...I really didn't want to get out and take a sample. I carry around a 1 gallon apple juice bottle with the top cut off so I can dip into tanks to sample their oil. Due to the pouring rain I just lookin in...holding my breath and saw the nasty mess. Another description would be that it looked like clam chowder. Im not sure just how thick the layer was and that's really what I regret not checking. It just was tempting that they had 200-300 gallons sitting there. That's a months worth of fuel for me
