slammer03, no issues here. I has been running it at about 1/4 to a 1/3 ATF thru the winter. Now that it is warming up I can start evening out the mixture. I never go more than 50/50, though some people say thay run straight ATF in the summer.

How many miles on what percentages?
Mixing inside the stock fuel tank or blending the diesel/ATF outside the tank and pumping it in?
Thanks

Like I said in my post, no set percentage. 25% ATF when its very cold out to 50% in mid summer. As far as miles go, I have been using it approx 6,000 miles.
Thanks for repeating the info. Sorry I missed the percentages the first time.
I run a WVO blend, but I mix it outside of the tank and then pump the blend in after mixing everything. I was wondering if you do the same with the trans fluid or just blend it by putting the straight trans fluid into a partial tank of diesel?

i have just heard of this from a diesel mech at ford. he uses it in two of his psd, of course working at ford he has basically an unlimited supply of used atf. must be nice. i told him im gonna come see him when im half full.

Toptech,
Sounds good, keep the updates coming! I just finished my fuge set-up last night and ran about 18-20 gallons of B100 that I had for a couple of hours total time (about five passes) and did get a little bit of crud out of it. This fuel had already been processed through a two micron fuel filter / water separator last week. I can already see a few mods / tweeks that I will want to make to my set-up. I should be able to start working with used ATF sometime next week, can't wait!
Bump.... I am starting my CF setup now. Is anyone running higher that 50% atf? I have seen high percentages of WMO but noone has mentioned doing the same with atf. Any additional info will be appreciated.
I am purchasing my CF from Joe at PABIODIESELSUPPY.com I've spoken with him several times and seem to be the best function/economical fix.
I have been running 80-85% ATF for a couple of months now here in So. Cal. I add the diesel to the ATF and run them though the fuge together. The truck has been running great.
hey I got to thinking and most of the hydraulic cylinders I have worked on have the seals replaced every few years... And so im not sure what that will do to our injector pump seals ,etc I would be blending it down to 30% oil to fuel anyway
The reason I ask is i have off and on over the past few years used waste oil and WVO ,but a friend of mine is getting used Hydraulic oil and running it 100 % in his ford 7.3 and using it in his 2nd tank so he can start and stop on the main tank that has diesel in it. he says it runs great but did drop his MPG from 17 to 10 . But I am kind of holding off to see if his seals hold up. anyone here been running Hydraulic oil for a few years with no problems ?
