Walbro Marine Pump for WVO

Anyone have any experience with these pumps? I've been running Facets but fried one the other day so I'm looking at options other than the F.A.S.S. which seems to be the high-end way to go but at $350-400 I'm exploring other options...

Re: Walbro Marine Pump for WVO

Sorry I don't experience with that pump, however from the written info it looks promising.
If what you want is a 12V pump then it may be the way to go, or yet another potential could be http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...48&R=11948 All you need is a drill and $15.
I don't know if you can run a drill off one of those two port power converters or not.
Thanks foe the link on the pump though

Re: Walbro Marine Pump for WVO

I think you two are talking about two different types of pumps. The first is talking about fuel pumps in the vehicle, the second about pumps for gathering veggie oil.

I tested the Facet pump with warm veggie and found it quite adequate. I'm using one on the veggie side to push it through the large Racor 6120 filter and to the Pollak 6-port solenoid. From there the stock fuel pump pushes it on toward the factory fuel filter, etc.

As for those little "drill pumps" they do work but the duty cycle is pretty short. Even if the pump can handle it, I wouldn't want to run my electric drill for 20 or 30 minutes at a time.
