so do you filter the veg oil before you put it in your truck? if so how much? i am thinking i will filter mine before pouring it into the tank. is there any other way to tell if the oil is "good"? thanks

Using spent oil..... wouldn't that be great. Change your oil, dump it in the fuel tank and just burn it up.

Yes, I heat it, course filter it through an air filter and then pump it through a 5 micron bag filter, then it goes in the tank.

Where are you in Phx? I'm up near the top of the 51 and the 101 You should come up here some weekend and take a look at how it all works. Gimme a call sometime. 284-0170

Just changed my oil yesterday......Its in the heater now. Right along with the vegetable oil. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/warmsmile.gif[/img]
