What type of vacuum motor for methonol recovery

I want to build a vacuum "still" recovery unit for my processor. What type of pump would I need, How big should the motor be. Are there any plans for a recovery method.

Thanks,

Ian

Re: What type of vacuum motor for methonol recovery

some are going to do it--but i still believe if you just put a copper tubing coil on top of the hot water heater--and after youve drained the glycerin!!!!-just heat it to about 170--and the vapors should go up the tube--and turn back to liquid--but put in a somewhat closed container--as the newly recovered meth will want to evaporate--unless you put like a 5 gal pail in a bucket of ice---the reason for removing the glyc first--one told me if you dont--the process will reverse itself!!!!! that be bad!!!!!! than after the bio is done--put the glyc back in the heater--and heat it up to remove its meth----some have said as high as 40% recovery---
