Where to get a good filter

I need to purchase a good 5 micron filter that I could run inlne on a filter head in the engine compartment. Any ideas?

I got a source on pre filtered WVO, selling for around 90 cents a gallon here in North Texas. Don't know exactly where yet, but am going to find out. However, I am not opposed to doing the filtering myself. There is also a BioD station about 15 miles from the house that is actually between here and where I work. I am in the process of building a tank of about 100 gallons to carry in the bed for the WVO, and would like to pipe it in for highway use, since that is most of my driving. I am thinking that for a heater I would utilize the trucks cooling system to heat the tank from the bottom and sides. i owuld like to run on at least 60% WVO (40% diesel mixed). Is this entire idea feasible?

Re: Where to get a good filter

BTW-

What about adding gasoline to the mix for viscosity thinning and runability in order to be able to run a stiffer mix, say 80 WVO-10 Diesel-10 Gas. And maybe adding in a little stanadyne for the pump and injectors.

Re: Where to get a good filter

i have been looking into running straight or mixed veggie oil and im working on filtering it now . im going to try and cold filter it through a semi truck air filter(whitch filters from the inside out) first to remove the big stuff but i cant get a straight answer from the filter manufactures because there air filters are not rated in microns and then im going to use the filters i remove from the trucks i service detroit 60s use 10 micron primary and 5 secondary filters and im going to use them even they are used they aint used up and the price is right and at the rate i put them on i can change them out on a regular basis like about 4 - 6 a week . im going to thin the oil out with the diesel i drain from the filters when i remove them . which im saving in a bucket on the truck and put it in the truck when its full and the best thing is i get them for free and have already located two sources for the oil and am building a tank to pick it
