I am also at 50/50 with no known problems. I can tell a difference between how it runs at 30 degrees or less vs. over 50 degrees. Maybe a little more sluggish during acceleration and a little less MPG. I might eventually cut back to about 30% WMO once Jan. gets here.
I run 90% or higher. But I am not using wmo, because I got a huge supply of free used atf and used hydraulic fluid. I used to run wmo, it worked fine, too. So far every type of fuel I have used runs the same, no performance loss, no added smoke. It has gotten below freezing here at night, still works fine. I have a heat exhanger between the stock lift pump and the stock fuel filter. I also add opti-lube xpd fuel additive, 1/4 ounce per gallon. I always start and shutdown on 100% pump diesel, because starting cold on oil means spinning the starter for like 20 seconds, then getting a big puff of smoke.
Based on my experience, and what others have written here, I think that having a heat exchanger makes a big improvement. I haven't had any problems in over six months of running 90% or more of used oil.

ta5150, what sort of heat exchanger do you have? fuel to coolant? fuel to exhaust?
I thought about figuring out some way to preheat the fuel across the exhaust manifold, but haven't got around to it yet. I'm nervous about running 50/50 in the wintertime, since I don't have a heated filter housing.
I am also going to start carrying a little water bottle half filled with my fuel blend, keep it in the bed so I can visualize how thick the fuel is getting at the current temperature.

During the days the temps are not bad down here. Over night they can get down to 20 and 30 and sometimes in the teens. Since I work nights the truck sits outside getting cold soaked.
I posted this question because the truck starting running rough when the temps dropped and had a miss. A new injector driver module cured the miss but it still runs rough. Pumping out the wmo/diesel mix and running start diesel did not fix the rough running. Once I get the truck running right again I will experiment with wmo/diesel mix again.

I have a coolant/fuel heat-exchanger. It also has a 12v heater in it (basically a glow plug) with a temp sensor that turns on when it is below 180 degrees. I bought it off of ebay. It also has a fuel filter on it. They are still for sale on ebay, just search for "fuel heater" and look around.
I might try throwing a water bottle of fuel in my truck bed, that sounds interesting.
