Stanadyne Fuel Manager Diesel Parts Selector

This is what i use. its cheaper than the stock filter too. you'll need to buy a filter head for it to match.

I bought a 3 micron filter and base here,
Wix Fuel Filters - FleetFilter Online Store

The filter number is 33005.
And the base number is 24770.

For pre-filtering you could get a 2 micron sock filter from ebay.
I'm not sure of the current prices.

I'm not running on mo yet.
I've finally gotten all my hoses except for 50 ft of heater hose.

I don't have anywhere to do the pre-filtering so I'm setting up to do it on the fly.
I've got a 30 gal barrel (free from a car wash), converted an acme juicer into a centrifuge and then will do a final filtering through a sock filter.

Filter heads at FF.com are located within the Misc. link as shown here: Filter-Related Miscellaneous - FleetFilter Online Store

Enclosed is a list of Wix/Napa fuel filters, there nominal filter micron rating, size and threads plus applicable filter head.

Good luck.

Baldwin BF1212 is rated at 2 micron & is what I've been using for the past couple of years.
