WVO and a 6.0 engine

Ok, I have done the Bio-Diesel process a few times and I have decided that it is pain to wash the fuel. In other words, it takes to long and I don't want to have to do it. But I don't want to run unwashed fuel in my truck. So, I like the idea of just filtering the oil and then running it in the truck.

So, has anyone converted a 6.0L engine to run on WVO? Was it hard? Is it working well? My truck has about 33,000 miles on it so the fuel system will go out of warrenty shortly so I'm considering the WVO route. Yeah, I know the injectors are still under warrenty. But with Diesel now between $1.94 and $2.02 and figuring the amount of fuel I use a week, the cost and time to make Bio-Diesel, etc. WVO is looking very good. Any input would be great. Thanks Anthony

Re: WVO and a 6.0 engine

Why not leave it as is and run Bio-diesel.
WVO seems to have major drawbacks in DI motors.

The question of polymerization of biod is in regards to the 28000psi injection pressure of the new 6.0 engine, which doesn't apply to the 7.3 engines. I have yet to find definitive answers but have heard that some city in Florida is using B100 in these engines and are having lots of problems. Maybe it only involves unwashed or poorly processed commercial Biodiesel, per the above dicussion.

I think it is just prudent to wait on the 6.0's before going B100 yet until further info comes out.
