Anyone out there done a conversion to their 6 litre yet? And if so, could you please post a link.
Thanks in advance for your help.
My 2005 hits 100K mile very soon, and I'm thinking this might be a good idea since I drive lots of highway miles, and have access to good quality WVO.

I haven't personally seen a converted 6.0, but they do exist. Vegistroke (Fordnut74) is the place to go for Powerstroke conversions. If you look around on some of the other forums like Frybrid and Greasecar, you'll find people that have converted PSD's. Let me know if you decide to convert yours.

I have recently converted my 2004 6.0 to wvo. I purchased and installed a Vegistroke system(now called Dino Fuel Alternatives). I am using one of thier first V3 systems with a 60g. toolbox tank. The install was straight forward but took some time and a little patience due to tight spaces.
I have 11-1200 miles with out a hitch. I decided on the vegistroke because it is fully automatic and creates a separate fuel system for wvo side. The parts quality are top notch and technical support is only a phone call away. While it may seem a bit expensive, being fully automated my wife can drive it with no switches to flip or purging to worry about, and having the wvo side with its own pump creates 2 separate fuel systems that always failsafes back to diesel if a problem is encountered

The reason I have asked, is because I went to http://www.greasecar.com and they do not show a kit.
I had heard that there was some kind of problems (with the fuel rail system and WVO) and the 6.0 litre.
I will give http://www.greasecar.com a call on Monday. they are only about a 1 hour drive for me.

It could be because greasecar currently does not offer a kit. They still use the trucks fuel pump to pump diesel and wvo. Which cannot be done easily in a 6.0l Thats where greasecar and vegistroke part ways, vegistroke adds another pump that strictly pumps the wvo, and leaves the original diesel pump alone.

Greasecar will add an electric fuel pump if needed - at school I have an '04 Jetta TDI that I converted, and the kit supplied a Carter lift pump that was WVO only. The pump died in the middle of a 13,000 mile nationwide tour with the bus this summer, so I made some changes to the system.
Having experience with the Greasecar kit, I would probably go for a Vegistroke or Frybrid kit. I thought about using a Greasecar kit for my truck, but ended up making my own system with bigger fuel lines, a flat plate heat exchanger, 3 valve controlled return, and a FASS, none of which was offered as part of the Greasecar kit. A friend of mine with a '98 Cummins bought one of their kits, and ended up changing it to make it work better. The other two kits are more expensive, but better suited for a truck.
