WVO conversion

Hello all. This is my first time post and I'm looking to convert my truck to use WVO. The biggest problem I've observed with the conversion is the direct injection of my PSD. Is anyone using a WVO conversion kit like a Greasel in a DI PSD?

If so, have you had any problems with coking, improper fuel injection, engine damage, etc.

Thanks in advance.

Re: WVO conversion

Same here, only 4,000 miles and counting. I replaced the lift pump a few weeks ago--the truck had about 100,000 miles on it at that point. I'll let you know if this one dies. I think the coking issue is a non-issue at this point. Convert!!

Re: WVO conversion

WELLROOTED / RORERI: Thanks for info. I'm watching the results you two are having, as well as those on other forums running PSD's. I'm really nervous about the coking issues, but at this point it seems to be theory only. I've yet to see anyone with a PSD say they fried their motor.

I'm going to start setting up my pre-filtering apparatus to get ready.

Thanks

Re: WVO conversion

me thinks if you put water mist on it--and set it to come on at 3 psi--in LOW amounts--would cure problem--when it fires each time--its like a mini steam cleaner in there-am working on same sort of problem on my 94--but diff fuel!!!!!!! some know----
