WVO Conversion for '94 IDI factory turbo
I want to do a solid & reliable WVO conversion on my '94 IDI factory turbo. It will need to stand up to single digits in winter, maybe colder. I would rather spend more money for the setup than cut corners and have things fail in very cold weather.
I am thinking about just buying a Frybrid standard kit.
Has anyone here done a cold weather conversion on an IDI and/or done this with a Frybrid kit?
I am wondering whether coolant heat will be sufficient -- they offer an extra inline fuel heater, i have also thought about injector line heaters...
oh and Frybrid sells a "high flow" VO/Diesel Selector Valve and a normal one...which one would i want for my IDI? i want to get as much performance as possible.
Any other concerns for converting an IDI factory turbo? I already know i'll have to get an electric fuel pump..
Thanks!!
