Well , my filter station is almost done and I've started gathering oil , so I'm starting to order my WVO conversion parts . I seem to remember someone suggesting a replacement fuel sending unit and I certainly don't want to deal with this after the tank is installed . Did I dream this , or is it that I just can't find it in the archives ?
Thanks for all the help so far !

oh ok, I had to reread it, When you said fuel sending unit I thought you mean the fuel pump. Yes the stock one holds up fine. i have run WVO and Bio through my tanks and never had a problem, they are just slow to respond which is the factory "Feature"

Thanks again , since you brought up the fuel pump... I plan to use a seperate pump to supply WVO and use check valves to eliminate switching . Where would you mount the new pump and could I tie the original pump to the tank switch to shut it off when I switch over ?

in front of your tanks is your fuel tank switch valve, it has a main line and an return line on it. When we did my buddy's '92 7.3l we bought the $47 pump at napa, followed the line, cut it and installed the pump onto the frame rails.

My thought was that I would place it in the engine compartment at the end of my HIH fuel line and direct couple it to my WVO filter . The biggest concern I have is how well it will prime . Has anyone used any sort of quick connect provision for priming in their conversions ?
