Diesel Secret?

DSE scam or real?

veggie fuel additive

DSE Method STILL working after 83,000 plus miles!!

Running a 7.3 on diesel secret energy?

There ae TONS of threads on the subject, some favorable, some not...You have to decide for yourself.

You can successfully run a WVO fuel blend without the DSE magic potion. If you search my screen name here, you'll read that I've been doing so for over 3 years

I started blending in my truck this spring. Have about 2000 miles on it so far. Doing ok. My research has shown that the DS additive is not needed.
I use:
50% WVO
40% Diesel
10% gasoline
.02% trup
.02% acetone

Works fine as in it helps, or works fine as it does everything it claims and is definitely worth it.

Putting mothballs (naptha) and xylene into veggie oil is not biodiesel.

STARTED OUT WITH DSE MADE MY OWN BLEND WINTER AND SUMMER.
NEVER PUT GASOLINE IN ANY AMOUNT IN A DIESEL.
FILTRATION IS THE KEY,5 micron IS NOT ENOUGH FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY
BROKE THREE INJECTORS FROM DIRTY WVO. IDO NOT BUY FILTERS ANY MORE,USE CENTRIFUGE- OIL IS CLEANED TO 1/10 micron
GOOD LUCK.

Older Mercedes state right in the manual to add up to 25% gasoline for better cold weather starts. I've been know to run a little gasoline from time to time. Also nothing wrong with filtering if you do it right. These days my blends are WVO in summer and WMO in winter with diesel as the main and often only thinner. I use naptha if I have it up to 10 percent. Is it biodiesel? No. But it's cheaper, easier, less time consuming, requires less equipment, and is safer (no methanol around). I have no interest in biodiesel anymore.

DSE is a scam.

I tried it in my '05. I was getting lazy about making Bio, It ran fine for about a week then my 6.0 begin to have problems. By the time I got it to my mechanic the little "diesel secret" cost my $4000+ in repairs. This stuff is JUNK. Run like hell.

What exactly needed to be repaired and was it without a doubt related to the fuel?
