03 6.0 f350 4X4 problems - Diesel Forum

I have a problem with my 03 f350 6.0 4 wheel drive. I had it in 4 low (without the hubs locked in) and i cant seem to get it out of 4 low back into 2H. I have tried pulling off the shift motor and the drive line and it is still in 4 low and wont come out! Is there most likely an electrical problem?

Have you tried putting the truck in reverse gear for a few feet? I know that sometimes works.

thanks for the reply. ya i have tried putting it in reverse for a few feet, and in drive for a few feet, and when i switch it from 2h to 4low or vise versa i make sure it is in neutral. It puzzles me.
