Question 03 Excursion with Fluid Leak

I own an 03 Excursion (6.0 L - Power Stroke) with 72,000 miles. I just noticed a fluid leak (very small spot) on the pavement towards the front of the vehicle. The oil is colorless. I also detected an unusual odor immediately after turning on the heater. I'm suspecting PS fluid. Any thoughts? I've never worked on this vehicle and greatly appreciate any suggestions or tips to diagnose this problem.

I would bet it is coolant. Check the radiator hose clamps. The bottom clamp has been known to leak.

Also check your coolant recovery bottle CAP for leakage. Could be system over presurizing do to EGR cooler related problems Leak on drivers or passangers side. PS fluid should be redish and coolant does feel oily
