03' Turbo

Have an 03 turbo with a damaged exhaust turbine. Will this affect the performance of this turbo? It is currently out of the truck and debating whether or not to put it on my 06. Thanks in advance

03' Turbo

How easy would it be to replace the turbine? is it even worth messing with?

As a rookie (ME) it takes about 2 hrs to get off and 2 to put back on. If considering a used one ensure you follow the reconditiong guide first.

The compressor wheel is easy to change- the turbine is not. The wheel and shaft are one piece. What kind of damage? If a fin has been bent or broken then something probably came out of the engine. Damage to the turbine end most always throws the turbo out of balance which will drastically shorten it's lifespan.
