04 psd Ex has no heat at idle--Blows hot at wot.

My 04 Ex with 72k miles has a issue that just cropped up. Like I stated in the title---The heat blows cold putting around but when I get in the pedal it blows hot. I've read alot of previous posts on this matter but have not seen a answer to the problem yet. If anyone has a clue please let me know.

Thanks,
Brian

You probably have air in the system, either low on coolant due to a leak or bad headgaskets.

A new thermostat seemed to fix mine . Mine would almost have no heat at slow / traffic speeds , then provide heat immeadiatly if you speed up. Also the factory temp guage was not very far up.Not good for snowplowing.
Now it seems to have heat , and the guage is about 1/2 way up .

PS> its VERY hard to get at , i had the dealership do it .
good luck
