6.0L Power Stroke Engine and Drivetrain Discussion of the 6.0L Power Stroke diesel engine and drivetrain in the 2003-Up Super-Duties and Excursions. No gas engine discussion allowed except on transmissions and drivetrain that pertain to all models. Please confine discussion of topics in this forum to those items that are specific to the 6.0L Power Stroke engine.

Mine is about a third of the way down from the top.I never try to hit the full mark in any of my motors.Its going in the shop monday morning for surging(and the ball joints are going out at 33k)because it has gotten worse.

Dose anyone know if the ICP and EBP sensor are covered under the engine warranty? Or how much they cost? My '03 f250 falls flat on it's face sometimes during acceleration with the back smoke too, of course never happens when the dealership has it. Reading a lot of post, seems to be the problem. I hope you get a fix for your problem, if not, make sure that you keep all copies of all repair orders and check your state's lemon law. FMC is buying back my '04 for much the same problem. We captured all kinds of data from the tech and I driving it while hooked up to their data recorder--but FMC engineers could not fix it--hence, my new truck, being built this month.

Yes!!! This is a warranty issue, all was replaced on mine on April 30 the codes came up EGR problems and it was trash when he pulled it out.
Replaced IBP sensor,EGR valve & wire harness. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/warmsmile.gif[/img]

same thing here. they replaced my egr sensor and wire harness conector. seems ok now but who knows what will happen in the future.
