05 F250 FUEL FILTER QUESTION

On the f250 primary fuel filter how do you disconnect the quick connect fuel lines. kenny

Go to your local parts store. For about $10 or less the sell a package of fuel line discontor tools to fit just about every vehicle. They're plastic 1/2 clips that slide onto the QD, & free it.

While you're down by the HFCM, get a IH drain plug & replace the stock hex plug. Well worth it.

Dealer said fuel pump went out 45000 mi. all under diesel warranty.said he definitely wouldn't use any biodiesel. huh.

On the fuel lines that go from tank to HFCM(pri filter) there is a button/tab to press with your thumb that releases the line. Sometimes I remove mine to get better access to the filter cap.
