Re: '06 6.0 better than 03'? Nope.

Thanks Doc...
On the Dodges, I pull them out of the ditch (with them pissed) every year.
I almost never see a chevy plowing, and like I said before, I'm very impressed with my truck's abilities aside from you know what.
Have to see what happens next, I guess. Really starting to feel like Charlie Brown here, with Lucy holding the ball for me. Damn.

That doesnt suprise me about Evergreen, I bet they work on way more gas engines there then Diesels with all those "well off" Issaquah people

Re: '06 6.0 better than 03'? Nope.

DIESELDOCFX4,

You are the hardest SOB I've ever seen on a truck. You can get a steel ball bearing and bring it back in two halfs. I've had as many trucks as you & haven't had any problems with my 6.0's either. I love the 6.0 motor.

I can bare witness to what DIESELDOCFX4 is saying, he has chipped every truck and drove them like he stole them. He hasn't had any engine related problems aside from getting CRAP fuel from Flying J one time.

By the way, he is my brother and I've been with him most of the times he was smoking the 35" tires through the intersections...

Re: '06 6.0 better than 03'? Nope.

You guys have me very nervous My 04.5 Dodge has over 260k on it, heavily modified. I lost 2 lift pumps before I installed a FASS but that is the only time I have been down on the side of the road.

I'm trying to weigh whether my desire to have a new Ford outweighs my concern about the engine and being left stranded somewhere..
