2003 6.0 Terrible Starting Any Temperature

I have an 03 6.0 that's been a good truck overall but lately every start the truck acts like its 0 degrees outside. It is impossible to start the truck and run it until it has idled for at least 15 minutes, at which time the idle smooths out and sounds fine. Once the truck is going down the road and is warmed up everything runs fine the rest of the day but if i take off before it has warmed up it will have no power and be very sluggish. It can be restarted all day and does good but if it sits for a few hours and gets cold(although its 95 degrees outside) it will have another terrible, rough start that jumbles around for 15 minutes until it gets warm again. Any ideas greatly appreciated because the local dealer has been no help........

Thanks

When was the last time your fuel filters were changed?

Re: 2003 6.0 Terrible Starting Any Temperature

I'd take it to the dealer and get TSB# 07-05-04 performed. That will update the PCM, FICM, and TCM to the latest calibration level including the fuel injector induction program. This strategy does work well. The other day I had a E-Series that would not start, or try to start at times, and it had the "buzz" strategy installed. I updated the PCM, FICM, and TCM and the van ran perfect after that.
