2004 6.0 won't start warm

Hi all,
I have a problem with my 2004 6.0 not starting if I shut off the truck after its warmed up. Starts great when its cold but if I go into a store for 10 minutes or stop at the gas station etc. it won't start until it cools down again. Sometimes it will start in 10-15 minutes sometimes up to an hour. I've read alot of posts about the STC fitting failing and this sounds like the exact symptoms I have but I can't find any info specific to the 04 6.0. Any suggestions greatly appreciated as my local dealer has had it in twice with no luck.
Thanks again

04s dont have the sct fitting on the pump that goes bad on 05s and up. it does have a very sililar fitting on the small tube comming off the oil pump to the branch tube, i have seen one or two of thoose leak before, just tell them to air test the system like they woul a newer truck and listen for the leak, or find a dealer that has a clue on what theyre doing.

I'm betting you have a leak in the high pressure oil system. The pump can lerak and it leaks right back into the crank case. The rail can leak. Injectors can leak. The STC that Fordboy suggested can leak. Nothing shows on your drive way. It doesn't leak through small leaks whehn it is cold as the oil thickens.

Most of these leaks involve removing major components from the top of the engine. Are you doing it yourself or covered under warranty or something in between?

Nate

Well, was in at a friends place today and the truck wouldn't start when I went to leave. After waiting and trying for 2 hours I had to get it towed to the dealership. Hopefully this time they get some trouble codes and can get it fixed up tomorrow. And, yes the truck is still under warranty. I'll post the problem when I hear back from them.
Thanks again
