2004 6 oil changes

Hello,
I am a newbie to diesel. I have always owned gas before and bought my f350 for towing. Until now with gas I payed for the maintainence at the dealer so never bothered to find out-it wasn't as high as diesel.
My f350 just ran out of the 60k prepaid Ford maintainace and so just called the dealer for the 65k and got quoted $155 for the 65k. Until then I just did at 5k intervals and since I wasn't paying each time didn't notice.

But now since I am going to pay just wanted to find out more. The 5k intervals are ok. But the 25k/50k/75/ and the 30k/60/90k services that the dealer does-just wanted to find out your experiences on how much of a difference it actually is from your regular 5k service miles.
So far my truck is great and no problems after 4yrs-2004 6.0.. So never paid any attention-but just as an extreme newbie, would like to know your take on all the services the dealer/ford recommends and what it entails. Kind of broad-but just wanted to get an idea of what it means from people who have been driving and using a long time. I do plan on sticking with the service -but just wanted to find out what each one is and how different from a 5k one it is?I know it is very basic and a dumb question-but just starting to figure out things...Thanks..
