Have both batteries tested, they do wear out. If you see a white puff upon startup, get the FCIM reflashed at the dealership (there is a TSB for it). Make sure you have the right level of oil, these things need the right oil pressure. You may have the HPOP fitting going out.

Agreed but usually the hpop shows up on a warm engine not cold. Mine was taking longer and longer and I had a bad battery dragging the good one down. Replaced both batteries and all is well again. Batteries must be seperated when tested or the test will be invalid. Been there done that scenario. If you have a bad battery, replace both.

Thanks guys. yeah, I replaced both batteries first. Dropped the tank and cleaned it out, Removed the inline frame pump and dismantelled it and reinstalled it, Removed and went through the oil filter and secondary fuel housing and replaced the engine oil and all the filters. I am going to try the ficm..I don't think it's going to be it. the thing runs like a top once you get it to start. I drove it for several hours today. I am still getting the P0611 code even after I clear it later in the day with the Modius scanner.. I am seeing several threads with similar signs but nothing with the same fix. All were different fixes to solve the problem nothing consistant except the ficm.. and theres wouldn't run at all.

With the P0611 code, it is indicating that your FICM may be going bad.

FICM and p0611
