2005 F350 6.0 Superduty will not stay running

I have a 2005 6.0 Diesel Superduty (Dually). I recently had new injectors installed due to several of the stock injectors failing. I noticed the next am that it was low on fuel right before it stalled. I towed it back to the house and added about 9-10 gallons of diesel, turned the key on/off 8 times to cycle the new fuel thru the lines and tried to get it to start. It would not start, so I soaked a red rag in gasoline and placed it in front of the air filter. The truck will start up and stay running as long as I keep my foot on the pedal and make sure it doesn't idle below 1500RPM. As soon as I let it drop below 1500 RPM, it cuts off. So I try it again. Same thing, over and over. I thought possibly it may need priming so I even let it run for about 10 mins and it still does the same thing. I have verified that fuel is making it's way to the engine mounted fuel filter. I also unplugged IPC sensor from truck to see if that made a difference. It didn't. I replaced the FICM about a year ago. I am getting the P0306 code. This is about to drive me crazy. I have spent countless hours and over $2000 in the last several weeks alone replacing the injectors and fuel filters...
Can anyone help?

Have you checked the actual ICP while its running. You have symptoms similar to mine when my original HPOP was dying. It would Run if I held the idle up but as soon as I let off it would die. And cranking was only making 300psi ICP so it wouldn't start on its own. Holding it at a higher RPM might give it enough pressure to fire but when u let it back to idle it could be dropping below 500psi.

Now I'm no diesel expert and someone may correct me and maybe I'm up the wrong path, but I chimed in because your symptoms sound so similar to mine. Hope we can all help you figure it out.

also the U0306 Means software of the FICM is not compatible. Did you have it re flashed without re flashing the TCM and PCM? could be on to something there. Might not be HPOP related. First part of my post i saw you say P0306. didnt see the update till after I posted

I haven't had the FICM reflashed. I had it replaced about a year ago because the truck wouldn't start when it was cold outside. Since then, I have driven about 20k miles. Truck was running rough after I ran a tank of Bio-diesel thru it. So rough that it would barely go up a small hill. I replaced the filters. Still rough. Replaced all but one injector (was told they were weak). Truck ran great until it stalled which happened about 2 days after the injectors were replaced.

Was told today to check the throttle sensor. He said the FICM typically doesn't just fail overnight. It generally progressively gets worse until it finally fails. I was going to send the FICM and ECU off to get tested. With the above statements, I think I am going to focus on replacing a couple of sensors before I spend the time and money having them tested.

Any thoughts or comments?

Your code 306 is not your problem. You probably still have air in the fuel system. Do you know what your fuel pressure is or what your ICP reading is?
