I haven't had any issues. I have had to take it in for a reflash. I think the EGR has some issues, but I wouldn't trade mine for the world. Plus I love leaving black marks at every light.

I didn't see any diff with my flash as my mileage report states. This weekend though I am going to unplug the truck for about 30 and see where that gets me. I want to see what I am going to lose by putting 35's on.

All four of mine have been excellent trucks. My personal 350 Lariat is a beauty to look at and to drive.

It was the early 03's that were the real stinkers. My 04 has been great as well. PLUS, we have several 03 owners on this site that haven't had any problems either.
I had a 2004 F-350 SRW and just purchased a F-350 DRW and personally I have to say...I can tell a difference (coming from a woman) ;-) The suspension and take off is a lot smoother...I can really tell a difference. Of course I have a diesel and its not as loud as the the other one (which I had no problem with) i like a truck to make noise because I'm not driving a standard sports car...it's a truck ;-) VROOM ;-) but seriously I can tell a difference...it drives very smooth and the turning diameter is a lot better. That is my take on the 2005's. my two cents. Allison

I had heard the newer 2005 F350 6 litre engines have been alot better and more reliable so far than when the engine first came out. Any thoughts??
[/ QUOTE ] Time will tell. The 03s had issues the 04s and 05s have been better.

I guess maybe a little of all...maybe someone else can descibe it better...
