2006 F350 6.0 6spd powerloss

Has 22,000 miles, and no flippin power. However its my dads truck as i currently have a 7.3 truck and was lookin into possibly getting a newer truck being a 6.0. After driving that, it seemed like quite the turd. My 7.3 would kill it and it nothin special. From what i've heard a 6.0 should kick the poo out of a 7.3. Well last bit of bs, i drove a 2007 6.0 that was a auto tranny and it got with the program for being all stock.

So with no power, comes no check engine light.

Could it be:

Injectors?
Turbo?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Was the '07 a F-250 or F-350? As far as just driving them and feeling the power/speed, there is a huge difference. A 6 spd f-350 6.0L will feel like a turtle compared to an '07 auto F-250 6.0L. Even a F-350 AUTO 6.0L will feel sluggish compared to a F-250 auto 6.0L. The gearing makes all the difference in the world. Hook them up to a heavy load and the roles are reversed. The 7.3L will hang with a F-350 6.0L without a load, but the F-250 6.0L should take a 7.3L hands down.

I'm not exactly sure whether it was a 250 or 350. I realize most autos are geared differently, so...250 auto comes with what gears as well as 350 auto. Thanks for the help.

So maybe its not a powerloss, i just never noticed that it sucked that bad.

F-250=3.73

F-350=3.73 (few SRW's have) or 410 (most likely) some have 4.88's

If you can find a F-350 with 3.73's it will be much like a F-250. Most likely it will have 4.10's though. DRW F-350's are not going to have 3.73's.
