2007 6.0... when will oil/egr cooler fail?

Hey everyone, just picked up a cherry 2007 6.0 FX4 truck. Am worried about all the posts on oil/egr cooler failures. Truck has 98,240 miles on it and is on stock oil/egr cooler per oasis report. FICM was replaced at 86,000 and flashed with "latest" flash. Not loosing coolant, not puking thru gas bottle, not steaming thru tailpipe, oil and coolant look awesome. Just wanted to know the average mileage these problems start happening. Thanks everyone

As far as I know, there is no particular mileage range that will help determine when one or both coolers will go out. If you want to know, get yourself and oil temp gauge and a coolant temp gauge and monitor them. Under heavy load, the difference between the two temps should be no more than 15 degrees. If you see that difference creeping up to that point, you can be pretty sure your oil cooler is clogging up...

And before the 100,000 mark turns over you might concider getting the Ford ESP extended warranty.
