I get mine from the dealership that I work for but I agree that the best and cheapest place is International unless you don't have one in the area. I know that O'Riellys is very high. I would try to stay away from there if you can.

01 F250 Lariat crew cab 7.3. Every option and superchips programmer. Best truck I ever owned. Traded in thinking the 6.0 would be better. Biggest mistake of my life.
03 F250 Lariat crew cab 6.0. Don't even want to talk about it. Spent more time in the shop than in the driveway.
06 F250 Lariat crew cab. MBRP full exhaust . I actually like this truck. Probably the closes I will ever get to a truck like my 01.
Keep in mind that there are two kinds of oil filters that will fit the 6.0: OEM-type and non-OEM type.
A pic is worth a thousand words.
Filter on the right is the OEM motorcraft filter. The one on the left is the Wix, part number given in a post above. It's hard to see it here but the Wix is slightly shorter and is not a "flat-top" as is the OEM type.
Here's another pic, this time they're switched: OEM on the left, Wix on the right. You can clearly see, even if blurred, the flat-top of the OEM filter. You can also see that the OEM is taller than the Wix.
The OEM types won't let the oil drain back when you shut the engine off. They will also work, if it matters to you, with the Oilguard oil bypass filter caps. The non-OEM won't.
Motorcraft and IH are OEM types. There are probably others (Fram?). Wix is not.
I still have three of the original six Wix filters that I ordered from Fleetfilter for about $13 each. Thought I was getting a deal. One was used, two were wasted trying to figure out why my oil bypass system wasn't working - turned out to be the filters. Anyone wants my leftover Wix oil filters, pay the shipping.
