I love my truck.
I have had EXTENSIVE problems with my 04 6.0. 14 injectors, 3 wiring harnesses, rocker arm, push rod, 5 EGR valves, EGR cooler, 5 fan clutches, and it is at FORD now with the engine seized after an overheating incident last Wed. These 6.0's are a total POS.
04 f350 6.0 no problems until 34 k, major problems with egr, egr cooler, then blew both headgaskets, turbo, egr cooler and a few injectors , spent over 30 days in shop for last repairs, as soon as complete took to another ford dealer and traded in for an 05 same truck differnet color. Oh, yeah I did put the edge mode on the first truck when we first bought it. I dont know if that was the major culprit for all the problems, but the 05 will stay stock all the way. I had two different dealers refuse to repair under warranty due to the presence of modifications.
