truck started acting up this morning. it is a 2005 f-250 and has around 111K on it. went to start it and it took a lot longer to start than normal. problably started the truck 6-7 more times today and it seemd like it was getting worse each time. it takes about 10 seconds of cranking before it started and then it didn;t sound normal when it finally did start. Once the truck is running it seems to drive fine though. really can't afford an expensive repair right now and can't go without the truck. ANy thoughts??
come to sofla and i can get your truck taken care of for 900 if it is the fitting my truck just had the same problem but it would stall when id floor it but id be able to start it back up and the one time it just sat there dead till the tow truck took it to ford lol but i dont really think its that... my truck is the same as yours or just about and its kinda slow to start probly 2-3 but sometimes its like you said probably like 10-15 it scares the hell outta me and as i said the fittin is already replaced with the better one and im gunna have my batteries checked too let me know if you figure it out

i can honestly say I wish i woudl have never bought this truck. Would take a HUGE loss if I was able to sell it, diesel is really expensive, truck gets poor fuel mileage, and the 6.0 is a POS that is unbeleivably expensive to work on. I do love the looks of the truck and when it is running it is fun to drive.
truck died to day on the way to the dealer. Very dangerous, almost cuased an accident when i lost powersteering and brakes in a turn. I am so pissed b.c this is a known problem. The dealer showed me several busted HPOP connectors that they had replaced. Now i have to come out of pocket $700-1000 to fix a design flaw by ford.
