I know this sounds crazy but, has anyone had any issues with their ac not blowing cold while underway (blew cold while sitting still) after either loading a tune or returning their truck to stock, only to have everything start working fine after a short drive and turning the truck off then back on? (everything worked fine before)
Here is why I asked: (sorry for the long read)
I had a turner issue and had to return my truck to stock. I headed into work afterward and noticed my ac was not blowing cold air while driving down the road. Once I stopped at a light it worked great. Started down the road again and warm air was blowing again. (yes I accounted for the temp outside and the system needing time to work) I tried cycling the knobs just for giggles and nothing. I was like GREAT, now my ac went bad. I get to work and shut the truck off. I came out about 5 mins later with a buddy to look at it and it worked fine. Driving and sitting.
All has been good for 2 weeks. Then today, I get my tuner back and load a tow tune that I previously had and the ac did the exact thing. I drove for 20 min. Shut the truck off and started it right back up.. Blowing as cold as I cold ever ask..
What gives? Is this some type of learning process for the truck? I talked to Ted at
Innovative Diesel and he said that the tunes do nothing like this. The truck has done it STOCK and WITH TUNES. (an ecm learning curve?)
This may be a crazy / dumb question but, Could the ECM be telling the ac to cut off under a load??

AWESOME tunes by Eric. (not trying to say his tunes does this, just trying to see if the ECM relearns after changing the parameters)
