Question Anti-seize compound when cleaning turbo, nickel or regular?

For the directions of cleaning the turbo, need to apply some anti-seize on some areas. Should the anti-seize be the Permatex Nickel (2400 degree F) or should I use the copper (700 degree F) or just the standard low temp stuff? Here is one picture in the series, great write-up, btw.

No one seems to carry the nickel locally and I'd have to special order or order online. Beginning to think that if I just take off the turbo myself and walk it into a shop for cleaning, might be better off than buying the cleaning materials and anti-seize, since the smallest size is an 8oz can (part number 77124). Thoughts?

I would use the high temp stuff. I'm sure you can use another brand besides Permatex. Loctite makes some as well as others.

Thanks. Found the Permatex on eBay for $12 + $6 shipping, which is much less than from other companies for special order or online. Surprised that no one carries it locally -- Napa, Grainger, any auto parts stores.

Strangely Permatex and Loctite have the same part numbers (77124 = 8oz, 77164 = 16oz) and come in the same exact bottles (gray plastic with silver top) but different paper label affixed. Thinking it comes from the same factory.
