Anyone know what this dealer "Program PCM" means? - Diesel Forum

I just noticed this sticker under the hood of my 2003 Crewcab 6.0. It is a Ford dealer sticker and it says:
"Program PCM"
3U7A-12A650-FUG
Dealer# 04058
3/2206

The second and third line are pretty self explanitory- the date of service and the dealer number. Anyone know what the program means?

You were reflashed to the new processor code of UTU6. It's the emissions recall that fixes some issues such as cold start, lack of power, and boosting issues. They remove the EBP sensor as an input and use inferred data from the MAP, MAF, EGR, etc. to determine boosting.

FWIW..As I recall your the first that got "AMD" sticker applied which listed the actual reflash # for 06E17.

I mention cause in the past, AMD(authorized modification decal) Ive seen/others talked about..listed # for pcm/ficm & tcm if all were reflashed at same time. Wasnt sure, but now this one for pcm only. Tks.
