What are the odds?

Technician A says: Both trucks just filled up at the same filling station and BOTH accidentally got GAS instead of diesel fuel.

Technician B says: They both had their aftermarket tuners cranked and they were 5th-wheel-drag racing when all sixteen pistons simultaneously melted.

Technician C says: Whenever Power Stroke diesel owners get within a diesel fumes length of each other they can't help but pull over and swap stories.

Technician D says: They were waiting for the other two 5th-wheelers in the pack driving a Chevy and a Dodge to catch-up!

[/ QUOTE ] i like tech d's answer best, but will go with tech c's response, just to keep everyone happy.especially since i just added a new dodge to my truck collection....

Re: Bad news for FORD

With two trucks that close off the road whats the odds maybe some bad diesel from same place they stopped (i.e. water in fuel).

Hmmm everyone has to just assume the worst.

p.s. saw a newer (04.5) Cummins off to side of road with a guy digging under hood yesterday. Stopped to see if he needed help told me tow ruck on way. Felt good letting the Ford pull back out whilst the Dodge was sitting there broke.

Re: Bad news for FORD

I can understand not stopping for safety reasons, But I decided to stop on the side of westbound Hwy 40 in central Arkansas for some Duck Hunters towing a Duck Boat like I was and they were sure glad I did.

Gave two of em a ride to the closest service location and saved them alot of time....

We got to stick together, but be as safe as we can while doing it..

I also would like to reccomend getting one of those Safety YELLOW vests to wear when you at roadside.

Theyve got reflective stripes on then and stick out like to perverbial "Diamond" Ect, Ect...

at night they just GLOW!!

Regards

Re: Bad news for FORD

Bad news for Ford...........?

So this is the reason Fords credit rating just got lowered to junk bond status by two credit major agencies. Connectors that fall out of the FICM on the 6.0L engine. Hmm....maybe GM is having a similar problem with their 6.6 Duramax. Their credit rating took a big hit too.

What are the odds?
